The Nintendo 3DS, which sold over 400,000 units during its initial launch in Japan, has already been hacked to play pirated games off an R4 card. The video below shows off the Nintendo 3DS playing the pirated games, as well as text explaining how using this hack won't allow you to play pirated 3DS games (yet), only original Nintendo DS games and Game Boy color games.

We're not really surprised that the Nintendo 3DS got hacked, but seeing it happen to suddenly is a bit concerning. The 3DS will launch Stateside on March 27th for $249.99.
