Halo: Reach is getting its second add-on with the upcoming Defiant Map Pack in a couple of weeks, and with it Bungie prepares to finally say goodbye to their child. Although that child is now an adolescent, and they're graduating from their parent developer over to 343 Industries. This pack was developed by Certain Affinity, and if you're wondering how it stacks up, check out our own Jake Gaskill's Defiant Map Pack hands-on preview.

Now that The Map Pack is out I am disappointed. The Forge objects are extremely lacking. i would of been happy with a grid, Coliseum wall (or equivalent), and some decorations on highlands But there is not. Also Phased does not work on the Items I have Tried.
on the other hand the scenery of each map and everything else is visually is wonderful.
If you are Not a Forger I would Get this.

Certain Affinity did some maps for Halo 2 back in the day. It's mostly comprised of ex-Bungie staff. I think that's where Shishka went.

Why was it made by Certain Affinity, and not 343 Industries? And who is Certain Affinity?

I can't wait for this map pack! I'll have all of SB to play it! Let's see if 343 can help halo out with the fight against the evil empire, "Activistion" and Call of Duty!
