L.A. Noire pre-order bonuses have been revealed. Rockstar will be partnering with several different retail outlets to provide pre-order incentives no matter where you where you buy it. You have several months to decide where to pre-order L.A. Noire from; it comes out on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 17. Keep reading for a complete list of pre-order goodies from Amazon.com, Best Buy, Gamestop, and Wal-Mart.
AMAZON.com (Pre-Order):
“The Broderick” Detective Suit boosts your fist-fighting capabilities and resilience to damage. Throughout L.A. Noire while working cases, you’ll encounter quite a few suspects and persons of interest who prove to be resistant to arrest. Your hand-to-hand fighting skills will be called into action on these cases – the Broderick suit with its enhanced fighting abilities may be that edge in helping make that collar.
BEST BUY (Pre-Order)
“The Sharpshooter” Detective Suit enhances your aim with rifles and pistols. Always a worst case scenario for any detective working a case, there are of course those occasions for Cole Phelps when pursuing a suspect escalates to gunfire. In these tense shootouts, the Sharpshooter suit provides that extra aiming precision to take the criminal down.
GAMESTOP/EB Games (Pre-Order)
‘The Naked City’ Vice Case
In this bonus case from L.A. Noire’s Vice Desk, detective Cole Phelps investigates the supposed suicide of a stunning fashion model. Can you help Cole unravel the truth in a city blighted by drugs, corruption and greed, where the death of a beautiful woman is never as straightforward as it seems?
The Badge Pursuit Challenge
Hidden around L.A. Noire’s beautiful recreation of 1947 Los Angeles are 20 police badges to find and collect. If you can find all 20 of these badges, the dapper Button Man suit will be unlocked which provides extra ammo for all weapons. Each badge also provides 5 additional XP which will help further unlock Intuition Points – special credits that can be used to give Phelps a key investigative insight when you need it most.
WAL-MART (Web Pre-Order or In-store Purchase on May 17)
“A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic Case is a bonus case from the Traffic Desk in which a seemingly run of the mill car theft ends up sparking an explosive investigation into the largest auto fraud racket the city has ever seen. With the stolen cars piling up and questionable characters at every turn, can you help Cole Phelps crack the biggest case so far in his career?
Will you be pre-ordering LA Noire? If you are what will determine where you buy it: pre-order bonuses or location?

Greencito_12
I can't wait to get my hands on L.A. Noire finally a good cop game and i pre-ordered the game on amazon since i received a $100 gift card for easter so basically Im not wasting any real money.
melodicmizery
what i wanna know is, if i dont get the missions or outfit am i going to miss some trophies? i hate having a game that i cant complete to 100% because of the games fault. or those stupid games that have online trophies but have no server after a year and u can never get platinum!
ItsNotPro
Pre Order it on rockstargames.com/lanoire and get a free t shirt!
Frank101me
screw the special abilities i would rather the extra side missions but still, i hate that you cant just have all the extra content
BEERBEER007
They've planned that so well, that it doesn't appeal to me anymore.
crocodilius
pre order bonuses dont always suck, RIFT gives a week of free live play along with an in game pet, mount, etc.
also: i didnt know Target sold video games.
i think Canadian Tire did too at one point, weird..
mbros45

ninenightmares
already had it reserved before i saw this im good with gamestop its closer to my home and job so at midnight releases i can get it and get to work just in time to be a little late :D
Necrosis99
yay, some stupid skins and some useless sidequest stuff. I'd much rather get something tangible like a keychain or whatever. Pre-Order bonus's suck.
Tyger
Gamestop it is.
littleb242
I guess ill be pre ordering from gamestop cause its closer and im lazy
Aaron82
I shall be pre-ordering from gamestop.
I don't like gamestop, but oh well.
Unbalanced
this is really not cool.
We gamers really need to boycott games doing this so that they don't pull this
taking away content from gamers is not "power to the players" gamestop. thanks for starting this trend of slicing up games.
cwhas2godhands
I don't understand why people pre-order games. They aren't Priuses.
Wigoff
i hate the different bonuses from different retail store pre-orders
MBias
Oh, wonderful. More Day 1 DLC. Content that should already be included in a game that's months away from release. I at least thought Rockstar was better about this than Bioware. Shameful and criminal that they get away with this stuff.

I am getting tired of these stupid pre-order bonuses; get rid of them or have the same bonuses in all places. I am not pre-ordering L.A. Noire. But if I was, I would pre-order it from Amazon.com because games are cheaper there and tax free; I could care less about the bonuses.
macross2012
Looks like gamestop is getting my cash for this one.. Dammit I hate giving them my cash
mittens1231
I hate gamestop ever since they told me GT5 was havig a midnight release and they did not. I could of pre ordered from amazon for $99 with out taxes and get a $20 promo card like they do with all games. I will stick with amazon for ever.
