Gears of War 3 Getting Multiplayer Beta, Dedicated Servers

Gears of War 3 has a release date: The game will be hitting stores worldwide on September 20.

The 360-only game will feature series protagonist Marcus Fenix and his amazing Delta Squad as they continue their fight against their nemesis, the Locusts, as well as a new baddy, the Lambent.

There will also be four-player co-op, Beast mode where other players take the role of Locusts. Plus, chainsaw-guns. I probably don't have to mention the chainsaw guns, but I want to anyway.

So who (other than me) is psyched to get this one on September 20?

YEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS finally. Im still playing 2 hordes multiplayers with friends and i cant wait for 3. Is going to be a sweet victory for us humans.

Gears of War 3, Mass Effect 3, DiRT 3, Assassins Creed 3?, Stronghold 3, Killzone 3, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3....Any other 3's I am missing that I already have or am going to buy this year?

I can't believe they didnt announce the release date for the beta. I guess ill have to try and enjoy bulletstorm til the betas open to the public...

RAGE and Gears 3 within a week of each other, if Assasins Creed 3 and Mass Effect 3 are anywhere near those dates I'm gonna have to drop out of school!!!!!

The gamer gods was good to us. I was pretty bummed when I first heard they were pushing this game back. But now since they have an actual release date that isn't November or December, I won't have to wait as long as I thought I would.
