Is it bad that I've never heard of them?
Also, it's their own fault for trusting in activision.

Hopefully the staff was picked up by other studios not associated with Activision.

Sorry, my last post was in response to the fury of the spam. I didn't know Activision announced the closing a month ago and announced the sale in November. Activision is the worst company for any developer to partner with. I've watched other people play some of Bizarre Creations titles and their titles are very good. If Activision was closing the studio because of poor sales Bizarre Creations is not to blame. The release dates air. All of the Bizarre Creations titles since 2007 (interestingly the same time Activision acquired Bizarre Creations) I have been interested in but the problem was every single time there was a better game I was interested in getting at that time. The release dates were horrible. Release those Bizarre Creations titles now and now I might be interested in getting them because now that I hear this I remember all those titles they came out with that was overshadowed by a bigger title. Now I'm probably going to buy those games because there's nothing interesting in January and February. Maybe I wont. Since Bizarre Creations is closed I don't feel like feeding money to the beast. I can't believe Activision would do that, I mean they never treated Infinity Ward that way, oh wait.
I've made it a point now that if Publisher Activision is involved I don't buy the game. Sorry for all you good Developers partnering with Activision, but choose someone else like EA Partners or THQ or just any Publisher but Activision.

Activision is pulling a total douche move, cancelling all their franchises just for 1 crappy game series that they barely put effort into making. I'd rather have all the companies they closed than infinity ward, sledgehammer and treyarch

The employees should all get together and make their own company.

I am actually shocked that nobody bought this development studio! THQ is completely changing their brand and strategy. I think this would have been a great opportunity for THQ to purchase Bizarre and develop some new games but I guess it was not in the cards.
I loved blur and will continue to play it! I wish all past employees of Bizarre Creations well with whatever they do next.

Bizarre Creations has always been very talented and it will forever be a mystery why someone else didn't offer to purchase their studio but someday, somewhere we will see Bizarre Creations again because those people that busted their butts for over a decade bringing some of the most memorable racing games are way too talented to not be in the industry.

its a shame but its hard to believe no one wanted to buy them but then again companies dont have that much money to be throwing around without being sure that it wont earn it back and for activison the only thing keeping there company afloat is COD and thats why they put one out every year and this next one is going to be pay to play so its not gonna come close to the sells of the other CODs the only way I would buy that game is if all the DLC is free and not being realesed half baked
