Minecraft's next update will include beds. The new update will ready on Tuesday, the 22, and will feature nap time. According to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, gamers will have the ability to make luxorious 8-bit beds where they will be able to skip night time by napping.
NEWS: Predator Recreated In Minecraft -- If It Bleeds We Can Mine It
Another update due next month will turn the bed you just slept in to your new respawn point. You will be able to say goodbye to the days of dying and respawning five minutes away from where you were playing. Instead, you'll respawn wherever you wish to place your bed.

All we need now is a teleport explore all day then when it gets dark you teleport straight to bed, it might even be a good thing to put in Minecraft to. ;)

That's... really useful, both of them. No more going out at night because I'm bored and losing a bunch of my stuff, and then having to hike all the way back... plus more furniture. Couchs/chairs aren't hard, but beds?

Seems like every time I say "Minecrafts really needs this to happen" it does. It is a weird coincidence (unless Mojang has my house tapped).
