Dragon Age 2's gameplay, story and weapons have all been upgraded from DA: Origins. X-Play had the chance to talk with Lead Designer Mike Laidlaw and Gameplay Prod. Dan Lazin about some of the changes we can expect. For starters we've got Hawke. He(or she) has a family, a history and that adds a level of depth and emotion that was missing from Dragon Age 1's protagonist. Gamers will also get more realistic relationships, you can be friends or rivals with characters. The armor has also been changed; it is now craftable. You can enchant it, add poison, glitter, whatever you want. They of course answered the question we've all been dying to know: how many people do you get to sleep with? Their answer: Some. I'll take it!
Dragon Age 2 comes out on March 8 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
