Electronic Arts announced today that the previously Xbox 360 exclusive demo for Crytek’s upcoming tech-tastic Crysis 2 will be available for PC March 1. Of course, this really only applies to PC gamers with rigs the size of a NASA server room, but it’s still good to know.
The multiplayer demo features two maps (Skyline and Pier 17), and the two modes includes in the 360 demo: Team Instant Action and Crash Site.
It’s a shame Crytek isn’t releasing a single-player demo prior to the game’s March 22 release, since I’m much more interested in the story campaign than the multiplayer, but I’m slowly realizing that major video game publishers don’t have weekly “How to Please Jake Gaskill” meetings (anymore), so it's fine.
Is your PC capable of picking up what Crysis 2 is throwing down? Anyone planning to upgrade their systems specifically for the game?

You guys at G4 still making jokes about how Crysis and the sequel will require this "super computer" to run them? My laptop that's more than two years old will run crysis just fine according to the system requirements. Please G4 hire more genuine PC gamers.

G4 what's up with you, I had to create a new account!!!!!! Anyways I can't wait for this game. I've been a long time console gamer, still am. But the first time I got to see Crysis and Warhead running on a nice system, my jaw dropped because I was unaware of how much a technological achievement they were/are. I hope they didn't downplay any of the PC's graphics for this game since it's coming out on consoles, and I'm spending my tax income on my first rig to find out. Can't wait!!!!

I wish there was a single player demo as well seeing as how I don't really care for multi but I also wish they had a PS3 demo I know they released a demo for the 360 but I don't pay for xboxlive gold so a multi demo on the 360 is useless to me.

I believe they are disappointed, but not outraged because the leaked code is a beta code which is quite buggy and nowhere near the quality the full game will be.

I hate to say this.... But why play the demo when the full game has already been leaked.
Im all for legit gaming, but you cant deny that the leaked will give a better idea if you want to play it.
And crytek doesnt seem to mind that its leaked. I think its about time that the industry opened up to pirating like redlynx did. Accept that pirating is here and show us what you got. If we like it, we will buy it. Avatar and CoD Blackops proved that.
