Windows Phone 7's compatibility with Xbox Live could be used with Kinect, at least according to this demo from Microsoft. They recently showed off this technology demo at Steve Ballmer's MWC keynote. The demo shows the game Rally Ball being played co-op by two people; one in front of their TV playing with the Kinect and the other on the couch playing on the Windows Phone 7. This is supposed to be simply a demo to show off what the technology is capable of. I don't buy that for one second, though! How long do you think it will take for Microsoft to officially announce this?

I absolutely LOVE it when video game ads star people who are so obviously NOT real gamers, like these three yuppies or the quintessential picturesque family that is super close and just LOVES playing and spending time together! It's SO realistic and so NOT obvious marketing!

i guess microsoft realized that you cant have a great game just based on the motion of your body. I bet this isnt the only peripheral we'll see for the kenect that has some form of buttons!

not my cup of tea but this does open up new ideas. picture this, enemies coming towards you as you fight. if you play it over and over again, its going to be the same thing (strategy wise when it comes to enemies), you ll know at when the enemies comes and strikes. but if it was done by a living being instead of a software, its going to be a whole new experience every time. what do you think Nikole????????
