True Crime: Hong Kong has been canceled according to Activision. In a conference call, the company confirmed that it will "stop development on True Crime: Hong Kong" citing the decision as one that would allow it to "focus on the greatest opportunities that the company currently has to create the world's best interactive entertainment experiences."

This was supposed to tide me over until the next GTA, since it was supposed to be very similar, well, in most respects. You were also supposed to be able to do really cool moves and use the environment, kinda like Shanghai Knights or something. I remember seeing the video, he slid on a table and grabbed a cleaver then proceeded to wail some guy with it.

My guess is that thay are just bull s_ing and ARE going 2 make it anyway, 2 many leakes about the game im guessing. A little played out.
I really truely want to see the CoD franchise burn out like guitar hero and Activision be left with nothing, and their story of how not to run a games company and the failure of activision will be an interesting harvard case study presented in college management classes.

You know, I'm getting real p'ed at Activision now. Not only do they get rid of Guitar Hero, probably the greatest competitor to go against Rock Band, they now cancel production on possibly another hit. I've never played the first game, but I think the previous games has gotten some rave reviews....ACTIVISION!
It seems like they're really hurting with the lawsuit on IW's top 2 at one time, and need all the money they can get to achieve victory against them.
Poor them. They know they're over, because Call of Duty's just about run its course, and it's only a matter of time before World of Warcraft hits a block.
