Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be getting its own special Marvel Edition Versus Fighting Pad to be released in time for MvC3's launch on February 15. Performance Designed Products will be bringing you this special edition fighting pad. The six button wired controller is designed with AAA fighting games in mind. “In the last few years, fighting games have re-emerged as an incredibly popular genre in the console gaming world, with a dedicated, serious audience that demands high-quality tools,” said Tom Roberts, chief technical officer at PDP. You'll get arcade accuracy from the micro switch activators in the joystick. Do you get sweaty palms when you're really into a game? Have no fear, it's even coated with a special "no-slip" finish. The fighting pad retails for $39.99. It's currently only available on the Xbox 360.

I like the fact that it put the shoulder buttons right by the normal buttons. I dunno what people mean when they say sticks are bad for fighting games though, isn't that how you'd play them in the arcade? The artwork is ugly as hell though.

Fightpad, definitely. Been using the D-Pad as a main way of playing fighters for a long time. The Stick hinders accuracy & control of the characters IMO. but $40 for 1? I'll stick w/ my Xbox 360 Controller tyvm.

@ninenightmares: Sticks never reach higher than $150. The lowest you'll find one at is about $130 but if you look on Amazon or Ebay you might find one for close to $100 if your lucky.

looks good but i wouldnt be able to use it i need an arcade stick but i have no clue where to buy one that isnt 149.99-299.99 thats just too much.

The image is awesome! But why no D-Pad? I have both a SF IV fight pad and stick. And they are both good in their own ways, but this design is a bad move.

Realistically, I would want a Fight Stick... but for the sole fact this controller is $39.99, I might just have to look into it.

I guess the 360 controller is the only one worth replacing, but it's still a poor choice. More junk that will sit on shelves until a clearance sale.
