According to game blog Joystiq, a reboot of seminal FPS Halo: Combat Evolved is expected to come out on November 15, 2011. The game is not officially in development, but there are a ton of supposed details on what we can expect.
Halo: Combat Evolved is being developed by Saber Interactive, and will feature a full visual overhaul as opposed to just being an HD version of the original, which means new art assets instead of bumped up versions of the original art.
The remake is expected to support 1080p resolution and 3D televisions. According to Joystiq, the reboot will "likely feature online co-op (the original game supported two-player split-screen co-op)."

They have to bring back all the original MP maps, Damnation PLEASE, would kill to play that online, Boarding Action, Prisoner, and Hang 'em High would all be nice too. (Okay, they brought back Hang 'em High in the last DLC for Halo 2, but they weren't released until only a few months before Halo 3 launched, not nearly enough time to fully enjoy that one online)

I mean don't get me wrong, I loved the first Halo. Many great memories with it. I just kind of want a Halo 4 already. :(

i love the 2 first HALOs because they had PC versions (thanks a lot BUNGIE!!!) WHY because my dad bought me PS3 and microsucks made the rest of the HALO games 360 only those cheep bastards and why the #### did you ditch the PC the keyboard is way easier than the xbox controller (to me) it seems that microsucks are having a grudge on sony cause the PS3 and google cause of the GOOGLE CHROMIUM OS... anyways thats jast me saying........hope you agree

YEAAAAA! This sound awesome! Guarntee I'll be getting this at launch. I played the original Halo for a good 5 years of my life and my life probably wouldn't have been the same without this game. A chance to play it all over again with amazing graphics sounds absolutely awesome to me. :D
