UPDATED 2/1/11: Rockstar Games has informed us that the above cover art is just the new pre-order cover, not the final box art. Shame. I kind of dig it.
For those of you who aren’t currently watching Scarlet Street, you might be interested to know that Rockstar Games has revealed the final box art for L.A. Noire, along with a shiny new game site where you can find screenshots, videos, and other game-related goodies.
Similar to the site for Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire’s also includes bios and screens for various characters players can expect to encounter in the game, the first of which is LAPD coroner Malcolm Carruthers, who will factor greatly into the game since all the dead bodies Detective Cole Phelps comes across have to be examined for clues and such. You know the drill.

I been waiting on this game since GTA IV, that is when they announce it that they were given GTA a break and work on this project and finish up Red Dead Redemption at the same time. And now it is very close

Okay it looks awesome, but has anyone seen any shot of gameplay? Is it just a movie? Or does it work like the GTA series?

Glad to see Rockstar giving Team Bondi the opportunity to make this game.

I think the game looks awesome because of the graphics and the storyline looks amazing. When I look at this cover art I instantly think of a BAMF game. I really hope my instincts are correct.

So where is the sticker that says,"Another half game at full price from your friends at 2k". Fine print reads,"The rest ofnthe game will be sold as DLC". Jk
