Another Kirby game is in the works according to Nintendo's CEO Satoru Iwata. Nintendo's HAL Laboratory will be working on the upcoming side-scroller game for the Wii. Few details were revealed but a short 35 second video was released. Kirby returns to his roots and can once again inhale his enemies, a feature missing from Kirby's Epic Yarn. The next Kirby game doesn't have an official title; I think Nintendo should consider Kirby 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Thank god! Epic Yarn was cute, but it wasn't a kirby game! It was a game that kirby happened to have been in.

Seeing as this is coming out, it would have been nice to see a new character and universe instead of Kirby in Epic Yarn. I still thought Epic Yarn was a great game but if Kirby was coming anyway, I would have liked to seen a new character for Epic Yarn like was planned.

I'm surprised at how many people didn't like Epic Yarn. Sure you couldn't suck up enemies but I thought the gameplay still felt rather Kirby-like. Great visuals, great tunes, solid controls, that game was beautiful, man. Shame more people couldn't appreciate it for what it was

Kirby is the bomb and i can't wait to play this installment. I'm glad they went back to the roots with the inhale and mario style gameplay.

Take a look at the above comments Nintendo. This is what people want. Stop feeding us recycled crap and give us more of this. We want mario, pikmin, kirby, zelda. Stuff that is good. Not a bunch of waving the unresponsive wii remote around like a moron.

One thing to love about this Kirby game is that it holds onto the original Kirby side scrolling action. I got bored of Kirby's Epic Yarn fairly quickly (less than 30 minutes into the game) But this one looks Great!

I'm actually a tad stoked for this. Classic Kirby with his classic power ups makes for a hell of a good time. Here's to hoping they manage to have the Plasma, Judo (the one you get from those damned Beetles), and Blade Knight (or whatever it was called) powers as well.
