True, but Sony has always been about quality, and this looks very quality.

The problem with Sony is they try too hard when they release a device to make it the most powerful or have more features that it jacks the price up too high.

Can't wait until it is ready for pre-order I will definitely been one of the first in my area to have one of these. I love the idea that it is basically a larger platform system that has been put into a small portable hand held system it is about time some has done this. I just hope that the price is not to much.

yeah id much rather buy this than a 3DS, 3D is cool for a while but come on if it doesnt add anyhting to gameplay id much prefer better resolution. Whats the point of 3D when the images them selves dont look that good?
krispybacon2010
if the gps function can be used more like "hey someone is playing this game right next to you would u like to join?" or compare trophies, or even do a lan party than it would interest me, but other than that it's still a maybe

yea, I read the Live blog as it was being announced on Playstation's Blog. So much amazing information. I can't believe that EVERYTHING we've wanted thing to be it's actually gonna happen. Also, with the announcement of Playstation Suite, it's a relief that the Xperia Play isn't gonna be the signature Playstation phone. Just the first one out of the gate. I highly recommend that anyone interested just wait and see what's next. The ability to have a Playstation experience on any mobile device is a lot more exciting than jumping at this...attempt at one.

WOW! I'm really impressed! I've been waiting for a new hand held and i must say, i'm more sold with the NGP than the 3DS, but im still convinced with the 3DS.
Good features Sony, and nice list of premiere games. I hope they don't mess up with the design and price.

What do I look for in a handheld device? Something which can be booted up quickly to pass the time in an airport or on a plane. This can easily be handled by my phone and iPad. I bought the original PSP on launch day thinking I'd use it often when I travel. Guess what? I don't and never really have. While the specs do look nice, count me out.

hey everyone look at this article
http://www.vg247.com/2011/01 /27/yoshida-on-psp2-pricing-it s-not-going-to-be-599/
so they already sais it won't be $600 haha. Hell it better not be. Now i am even more worried about it being like $350-450 since they could have said it won't be $399 or $499.
