It's going to be raining horror this fall, when Silent Hill: Downpour gets its official release. Konami revealed the release window, as well as a few choice screenshots, the soundtrack and some details. Horror fanatics, take note!
The Downpour protagonist, Murphy Pendleton, will be terrorized in a number of locations, including the ubiquitous horror diner, some mountainous wilderness, complete with cable car, what looks like a cave a mine, and the expected claustrophobic, wrecked interior. What strikes me about the screens: The number of exterior versus interior shots. When I think of Silent Hill, I think of the inside, the claustrophobic school in the first game. Or the terrible locked room in Silent Hill 4. But judging from the title and these screens, I think we're going to be spending more time outside for the eighth Silent Hill game.
Are you as excited as I am about this game?
