Electronic Arts and Virgin Gaming have announced an agreement for Virgin Gaming to become the official provider for EA Sports online tournaments. There are different types of tournaments including head-to-head competitive play, play-to-enter, and sponsored tournaments. “Virgin Gaming demonstrates the system-wide integrity we desire, and this is a great opportunity for EA SPORTS fans to experience secure and impeccably managed online tournaments for some of our top titles.” The first tournament will begin early this year but the details have yet to be announced.
