We know you are all super swamped crafting, molding, fine tuning your fantabulous imaginarious creations in Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2 at the moment, but we thought you’d like to know that the latest edition of your favorite video game webshow Feedback has arrived!
On this week’s episode, Adam Sessler welcomes Rob Manuel, Chris Monfette, and myself to discuss this week’s hottest game news, including THQ’s big gamer’s day that was held last week in New York City, LBP2, and why we fear we might never see Adam again (Yes. It’s WoW related).
Using some of the amazing new tools in LBP2, we were actually able to create a discussion around the following topics:
- The PS3 version of Portal 2 includes a Steam “copy” of the game for either PC or Mac. It also features cross-platform co-op and chat. Does Valve know how to make nice, or what?
- Epic Games will release the Gears of War Triple Pack on February 15 for those gamers who just came out of a five-year coma, or are a sucker for a great deal.
- Natural disasters, political turmoil, troubled economic times, AND Nintendo has stopped making DSi’s? Coincidence? You be the judge.
- THQ showed off a bunch of upcoming titles at a press event last week. Get the latest info on Homefront, Stacking, and WWE All-Stars in our even roundup.
- LittleBigPlanet 2 dazzles and delights, and the gang tosses in their two handcrafted cents about Media Molecule’s latest brain-blasting title.

I really don't understand why everyone says that Xbox Live is so much better PSN. Live charges you for a ton of features you never use or that are more convenient to use on your phone/computer. Plus PSN is free. I have never had any problems playing online on the Playstation. Plus it's free. Did I mention it is free. I just don't get it. I buy all my online games on PS3 now. I had Live for 5 years before you call me a Sony fanboy... I'm a Nintendo fanboy :)

i think if company's really want to make more money on new IP and releses they need to come out with more demos. it worked for Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. And i think it really worked well for Bioshock. i myself was really impressed when i played the demo that i went out to buy the limited edition (with was a good move regradless cuz now the Big Daddy toy is worth $200) instead of renting it like i do for alot other games. also if companys are always pressed about games being sold used they should come out with interesting dlc. mass effect 2 has done this and is coming out with more. I have spent so far enough money on the game to buy it twice and since i have so much dlc i think twice on selling it.

When did the screaming intern get a haircut and put in some contacts. Looks like he is trying to change his image, leave the old screaming bit behind. I can't blame him, but he used to remind me a lot of how one of my friends looked, now he just looks kinda creepy, I applaud you good sir.

I would like to say that I have not jumped on the Gears of War Train-Wagon. I have played most of 1, and some of 2 (friends' copies) , but I just got an xbox 360 this past December, and it is staying at home with my brothers (I'm at school), so I haven't bought many games for it. So there. Add me to the "People not on Gears bandwagon" list.

I agree with leaving the multiplayer off. I don't play any multiplayer, not because I suck, but because I meet horrible people online who I don't want to have anything to do with. How about, $40 for the game, if multiplayer, it comes with two codes. One unlocks the campaign, the other the multiplayer. If you want to unlock BOTH then you have to pay an additional $15-$20 or so? Or even $50 + $10?

a great feedback. I agree Artificial Beef has a good question. I think Chris's Idea of 40 bucks for a game and then pay for the extras would be a great idea. I mean then the publishers are getting more money and the resale of the video game gives the resale-er less money. Because I would be tempted to get two games a month at $40 a piece. When its a $60 hit its something I think a lot more about. As in more than likely I will pass it up and get something cheaper.
