We know you are all super swamped crafting, molding, fine tuning your fantabulous imaginarious creations in Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2 at the moment, but we thought you’d like to know that the latest edition of your favorite video game webshow Feedback has arrived!
On this week’s episode, Adam Sessler welcomes Rob Manuel, Chris Monfette, and myself to discuss this week’s hottest game news, including THQ’s big gamer’s day that was held last week in New York City, LBP2, and why we fear we might never see Adam again (Yes. It’s WoW related).
Using some of the amazing new tools in LBP2, we were actually able to create a discussion around the following topics:
- The PS3 version of Portal 2 includes a Steam “copy” of the game for either PC or Mac. It also features cross-platform co-op and chat. Does Valve know how to make nice, or what?
- Epic Games will release the Gears of War Triple Pack on February 15 for those gamers who just came out of a five-year coma, or are a sucker for a great deal.
- Natural disasters, political turmoil, troubled economic times, AND Nintendo has stopped making DSi’s? Coincidence? You be the judge.
- THQ showed off a bunch of upcoming titles at a press event last week. Get the latest info on Homefront, Stacking, and WWE All-Stars in our even roundup.
- LittleBigPlanet 2 dazzles and delights, and the gang tosses in their two handcrafted cents about Media Molecule’s latest brain-blasting title.
Feedback: Made from scratch every week by an underground dungeon full of Sackbots since 2011.

Lol, at a Gears ultimate bundle coming out Feb. 15, who would bother with that crap considering MvC3 is coming out the same day. Honestly there are plenty of other games to get than to bother with rereleased titles (even if you did manage to miss out up until now).

LOL i love Adam's Bill cosby/Excited/Bentley voice.

Full screen is not working for me. It won't go full screen on any of the videos on g4tv.com. I even restarted my computer. Anyone else having this problem? If so G4 please fix it! Thanks you.

As a person that plays multiplayer on only a handful of games, I would love a "solo edition" on many games that I have no desire to play the multiplayer aspect. For me, it is wasted content and, less important, a black hole of achievements/trophies that I will not even try to earn. To each their own, after all, and I am very selective on what multiplayer I want to spend time on.

I like Rob pushing Indie games but when he brought up about not getting achievement points I thought of this. Wouldn't it be beneficial to Indie developers if achievements were given out for indie games? I've purchased some indie games and enjoyed them but did think I would purchase more if they had achievements.

This epi wasn't very good.

You guys may know more than me, but I don't know why you keep calling LBP a franchise. MM was originally opposed to a sequel. It seems they felt that this game would be enough of an improvement to merit a sequel, but I don't think we've heard anything about a third. I don't think this game was ever designed with the idea of becoming an ongoing series.

The down side to making things more complicated is that I buy that $40.00 game and forget about the online multi-player all together. I'm not going to buy the game then micro transact for multi-player, and pay my internet company, and pay Xbox Gold fee, and pay for other DLC. This could get very ridiculous in a hurry!
I would rather pay $60.00 with the opportunity to play online multi-player in the future if I choose to. Or buy the $30.00-$40.00 game knowing that for that price online multi-player is impossible.
The more hoops I have to crawl through to play online the less online gaming interest me.... Period!
I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THINKING THIS

Sorry, i must be wrong.
THQ now means Toy Headquality.

And, as usual, it was posted yesterday but STILL isn't available through iTunes.
I don't get it. I just don't get it.

hey feedback crew, can you tell us if the 3DS tech will work on us colorblind gamers?

Microsoft probably hopes to one day better compete with Steam with Games for Windows Marketplace, so I think that is why they won't let Steam move in on XBOX 360. By giving PC/Mac owners the free copy of the game with a PS3 purchase of it, many people will check Steam out just to play it on the PC/Mac to see the difference in gameplay and graphics, which will probably lead to lots of sales on Steam, because they run some really good deals on some real popular games. Smart move by Steam and can't wait for Portal 2. Guess I'm buying it on PS3 now so I feel like I got 2 games for the price of one.
I also agree that games with great mulitplayer should release the game for cheaper for single player then make multiplayer a purchase option like a DLC. I enjoy first person shooters, but rarely buy them new, cause I'll run through the campaign (which usually only takes a weekend) then be done with the game. So I always wait till the price drop anyway.

For the week of January 12th??
Wozman23
I wish we had that cheaper single player business model as I almost never care about online multiplayer. That way the people who want multiplayer can have it at the same price, but I can save some money on a feature I never use. Make that happen.

Because Mass Effect 3 is not a Download game. It is a full cnosole game that can be distributed via download and disc. They were referring to smaller games that keep there overhead down by not having to ship physical media. This also meeans they don't need to produce the media, store it, or worry about keeping it if it does not sell. They don;t need to buy discs, cases, boxes, etc.

zomg another one of the greats falls to the WoW virus...welcome to the club Adam.
xbigxdavex
i just have one question. if overhead is less on downloadable games why oh why is the digital download version of mass effect 2 on psn sixty bucks? i could just go buy a copy for my 360 for nineteen bucks on amazon but i am currently in a competition with a couple of buddies to see who can get the most trophies in a month. so wheres my download discount?
