Namco Bandai has released new details and screenshots for its new Nintendo 3DS racing title Ridge Racer 3D, the latest, multi-dimensional installment in the publisher’s long running franchise.
The stereoscopic-powered racer looks to deliver all of the nitrous boosting and power sliding fans have come to expect from the series, only…you know…in 3D. Ridge Racer 3D will introduce a new Drift Button that lets users pull off perfect drifts simply by holding/letting go of a single button. For more traditional racers, there’s a standard drift control option too. The game also supports four-player local multiplayer, and players can compare stats using the 3DS’ StreetPass feature.
Here's a look at the game in action:
Ridge Racer 3D will be available for the 3DS in spring 2011.
