Kingdom Hearts for the 3DS officially has a name. At their Production 1 press conference Square Enix announced the next game in the Kingdom Hearts series will be called Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. All three words of the title start with the letter D--brilliant. The game's use of stereoscopic graphics will give players a sense of speed and a sense of depth when flying or falling. Along with new details for the KH: 3D Square released a Japanese trailer.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix's director Yasushi Yasue also confirmed that players will be able to play as both Sora and Riku and will be able to switch between the two throughout the game. Both characters were first introduced in the original Kingdom Hearts game. According to the official site the game also has a tag-line: When darkness and light are next to each other, light fades to darkness. Deep, right?
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance does not have a confirmed release date for Japan and North America yet. It will be a Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
