OK, this one I'm really pissed about, but more at myself for letting DCOU draw me in. It will not happen again. The game is playable and very pretty, the combat however gets old rather quickly. What makes me angry is the amount of glitches and freezing this game has. On top of that, constant denial of service, not how I envisioned shelling out $15 a month on top of the retail price for my first and possibly last MMO. And the best is for last. I called Gamestop to ask what the trade-in value was for the PS3 version and I was told there wasn't one as it's being treated the same as a PC game. Meaning I and everyone else who doesn't like the game is stuck with it!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Oh... we missed all the SWTOR news... ok so nothing really new, but you could make some stuff up for us to get excited about. Did you notice the Developer posting frenzy that has occured the last few days. Let just say the best thing that came out of that was probably the PAX East hands-on time they plan to have. Now hopefully I can get a MMO Report sponsered ticket!

OOO I also want to make Aqua man cry under water because I ate his child-hood royal advisor dolhpin friend make wonder woman think batmans a chump and only have eyes for me (he's not) find out if StarFire or Raven are pg-13 or nc-17 and just say hi to superGirl and get an autographed headshot. maybe even do some work for Daek seid, if he takes notice. Yeah the badest hero and Sweetest Villan should get an annual one shot publication, or cameo. That would be attention getting.

Now my borther owns a PS3 and im a Lap-top player we don't really have a chance to team up unless chating on f-book plus he's not familiar with the mmorpg thing and isnt into the fantasy aspect of most of them why a PS3 it came with Blu-Ray and he has a bad-arse Hd-3D TV it's huge. He's not a hardcore gamer or comic fan but can hold his own if you give him any controller of any game in any genre he's just not intrested in any game of any genre evenif its a good one. He can also hold a serious to sophmoric discussion on any mainstream super star marvel or DC charcters, not so much in the indies. Noody is perfect. DC is something that would be a nice intro to some things he know to the things he doesnt pluse a family of heros or villans is still a family.
What I ant to know is did they adress the secret identity part of it (My secret identity anyone my bor is older so he kows what i'm talking about half the stuff i know about is because he was the one in charge of the tele when I was growing up) But like I know there are professions ink other mmorpg's did they effectivley do that here. like if you work iin a junkyard or as amechanic for a cover do you get special access to making hero-mobiles or armors//weapons if a scientist can you augment superpowers or somethingsimilar can you have a sims likle pad/life that is based upon your money intake or a secret lair/ or team league you can call on if you pad is saved by a different hero like the part of city your hidden self stays in gets attacked nd saved by others do you lose face other comic inspired stuff like that. or a certain level of meter or gauge to keep track of how well you keep the hero stuff a secret from neghibors and if they do find out becaus eyou suck at subterfuge do they support you with tips and leads or because your a lousyhero/neghiboe/co-worker, they black-mail you by money or doing special super powered task oinlky you could do. things like that. IU'm not going to play to find this stuff out but if it's there and is fopund, then i eill play for sure.

I will admit, I had more PvP on DCUO than on traditional MMOs. I am a PvPer and I love world PvP. Imagine getting ganked as a level 1 BLUR/SUPERMAN lookalike character by some jokers level 30 type characters as you are saving Metropolous from deforming to apes and helping the Flash. Life dont get better than that.
Plus killing some kids dream of being the ultimate Superhero and repeatedly killing him as he or she is going after quest mobs... makes life better. I enjoy PvP and this is one of the reasons why I am not a WoWer. There is no point in World PvP in WoW. In DCUO allot of the quests are opposite quests. for the good guys you might have a quest here you have to save 10 out of 15 civilians in a mall being assuated by evil people; while the evil people have to kill 10 out of 15 civilians on the same quest as you try to protect them. A real reason to PvP in the real game world versus some make believe battleground.
While DCUO does have battlegrounds, it has substantial world PvP. Check out the PvP servers. They are the best! Plus, you can team up with Superman and Batman

@Kanabo Master, what are you, eight years old?
First, you don't need to keep telling us about DC universe, every chance you get, on multiple web pages. We get it already. I'm sure DC universe is commercializing somewhere else, on their own time, where everybody else can see it. The bottom line is let people think for themselves. If I wanted to play this game, I would eventually have found out from other sources (such as this MMO report).
Secondly, if you watched the actual segment where Casey described the game, then you would have seen that he said absolutely nothing negative about the game at all. He did take a crack at Sony, but that was nothing against the game itself. And even if you were to just consider what he said at the very start of the video, that wasn't all that bad either. All he basically said was that the game was good, just not as jaw-dropping-amazing like you seem to think it is.
So really, just do us a favor and give it a rest.

Everybody I know who has DC UNIVERSE ONLINE,says it's great.The only complaints are the sub fee,SO IS THIS D BAG MAKING THIS UP OR IS HE A WOW FAN BOY OR SOMETHING,lol.DC UNIVERSE IS NUMBER 1 ON STEAM RIGHT NOW!!!!!!......THIS GUY IS MISLEADING YOU.DC UNIVERSE FOR THE WIN,XBOTZ
