Have “rules” and “professional oversight” turned you off from legally sanctioned ultimate fighting? Long to experience what it’s like to be an underground pugilist not beholden to rules or morality? We, and the team at Kung Fu Factory, hope so, because the developer’s new mixed-martial arts title Supremacy MMA looks to deliver a brutal and unflinching take on the ever popular sport. Our own Kevin “Southern Dandy” Kelly recently stepped into the virtual octagon to check out the game, and here’s a snippet of what he had to say:
"Kung Fu is stressing that the game will be 'Unauthorized. Uncensored. Uncompromising.' To that end, the game is brutally violent, and has extreme finishing moves, most of which would be illegal in any ring. Crushing heel stomp to the face? There are also leg breaks in the game, which we got to see in action. It's not for the faint of heart--seeing a fighter's limb sticking out at an uncanny angle--but it happens in real life, so it's in the game.
