DC Universe Online has arrived, and that means becoming the superhero of your dreams is as easy as navigating through some menus and picking your desired characteristics. The charater creation portion of Sony’s newly released PC and PlayStation 3 title is pretty deep, so to help you out, resident MMO fiend Leah Jackson has put together a little how-to video to walk/talk you through the entire process. And we honestly couldn't be happier, because, let’s be honest, becoming a real-life superhero is a huge hassle. Not only are mutant spiders and/or military experiments gone wrong rather hard to come by in the course of a normal person’s day, having to constantly be on call to save the world means no more Hoarders marathons. No thank you.

Are you tired of feeling helpless when it comes to DC Universe Online? Are you sick of wasting hours on leveling up, or getting owned in PVP again and again? Here is something that can help you make a difference in the way you play DC Universe Online.

The character creation for this game is a paltry fraction compared to the pre-eminent super-hero MMO, City of Heroes/Villains. The powers are limited, the colors are limited, the shape, size and style of your character in this game are limited. While the game has some values, particularly the physics driven combat, the character tools should not be considered anything special.

Actually inferno, that is just a swap of the three colors in your palette. Leah youll be happy when you see that under your style tab in the start menu, you can switch over to a colors tab where you can change your palette entirely. Have fun. See y'all in the world.

your information is invalid, at least for the ps3 version. even after you've selected your "pallete" you can go back and select each item of your costume individually and recolor it however you wish.

It might be deep compared to WoW, but you want the best customizable streamlined experience, then play City of Heroes, StarTrek, Original StarWars galaxy, or Champions. With DC Universe you have to go in and out of menus just to mess with a couple of things and they are right, the 3 color choice is SUPER ridicules. WHY hold people back? ALSO what I agree with them is the fact there is NO body modification other then the, Big, medium, or small category. Even with that though, you have to have a preset size. Not everyone wants to be a super bulky man or a big breasted women!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?! Makes them seem like they are being sexist. The biggest thing wrong with it is the Menu UI. It's bulky and annoying
