Nugget From The Net: Guy Makes Kinect Hack For Doom, Zelda, Modern Warfare And Rainbow Six Vegas 2

We've seen plenty of Kinect hacks in the past few weeks, everything from World of Warcraft to Minecraft. Since I am completely incapable of making a hack myself I am forced to revel in the accomplishments of others. One such person managed to make Kinect hacks for three great games, Doom, The Legend of Zelda, Modern Warfare and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 using the FAAST software provided by the USC hackers who made the World of Warcraft hack. Can you imagine playing Call of Duty this way?

These were all made by the same person. I doubt he takes requests, but what game do you want to see get the Kinect treatment?

so thats a wii mote with a camera well now microsoft will probably catch on so that should put xbox ahead of ps3 since the kinect is a much better camera than the eye

Wozman if you don't think these are impressive you are obviously living in the past.

I would love to see a nice little Wiimote/Move attachment for the Xbox to use with Kinect for shooters. It would be awesome.

MS said it would be bringing out hybrids, replace the Wii-mote with a standard 360 controller and this is what it could be like.

I remember having to push a button or even hold down one button while pushing another to peak out of cover, this is much more natural, just peak as you would in real life.
