It's one thing to read about Microsoft's offerings at CES 2011, but when it comes to Micrsoft's Surface, you've got to see it to truly believe it. That's why we've got video below: Check out Surface in action, from Micrsosoft's keynote address.
While gaming isn't the primary focus of Surface, the possibilities are mind-bending. How about a Surface-powered RTS? How about Surface-powered tabletop Dungeons and Dragons?

Surface-based D&D is in development!!! Students (and faculty?) at the SurfaceScapes team at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University have been working on it for years and demoed it at some gaming conventions. From what I've seen on youtube, it's rad.

this stuff is really nothing knew. and theyve already been utilized by restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe (they announced bring able to browse thier library on ur table with MS S like a year ago)
