Sony might not be ready to spill the official beans on its long rumored PlayStation Phone, but the Chinese website IT168 sure is. The site has posted a fully detailed preview that reveals loads about the device including its GPU, its battery and memory size, screen resolution, and more. In other words, sexy, sexy stuff.
As Engadget reports, the Xperia PSPhone runs on a Qualcomm Andreno 205 GPU and sports a 1,500Ah battery, a 4-inch LCD screen with 854 X 480 resolution, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera that may or may not support HD video, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, a microSD and a SIM slot, micro-USB, and a secondary microphone.
There is also a game app called “PlayStation Pocket,” but it isn’t clear what its function will be or what games it will be used to manage.
New leaked photos of the phone popped up online earlier in the week, confirming the Xperia branding and form factor. At this point, there’s little need for Sony to remain silent about this whole thing, and CES 2011 seems like it would have been the perfect place to officially unveil the device, but clearly Sony has other plans.

Well everyone can expect a large wait for this to come out, as there going to be changing the hardware.
Sonys failure in keeping the psp kirk keys in the PS3 is gonna force sony to do hardware changes,
unless they want the hackers to hack it within 24 hours of release.

haha, another fail piece of Sony hardware. for those who aren't smart enough to realize this... this playstation phone is a PSP Go that can make phone calls. Have you already forgotten what happened to the PSP Go? you can't beat Droid, Droid can't beat iPhone, why even bother, Sony?

The new Playstation Phone looks amazing. I have always wanted to get a phone like the Iphone or something like the new Playstation phone, but I have never been able to get one or afford how much a brand new one would be. But if there is a way that I might be able to get one, I will try. The phone looks and sounds amazing. If it makes it to the states anytime soon I will definitly try anything I can to get one. Way to go Playstation.

considering this is running android its a hell of allot more then "a PSP with a phone program"

I still say this is nothing more than Sony pulling an iPhone (the iPod touch with a Dialer and cell network)... this thing is basically a PSP with a phone program... yeah it's going to have more bells and whistles then that, but logically think about it... i'll say for those who don't have a smart phone and a PSP then this will be worth it... but outside of that, why would someone give up a PSP or their Smartphone for this? it's a waste of money, it sure as hell don't play UMD's plus who knows what carrier it's going to go on, so that would be another consideration when it comes out.
I think this is going to be a flop... not N-Gage flop, but this is not going to go well, unless the Tech Whore go out and buy it for the sake of buying it.
