Sailor Moon

Namco Bandai Games Europe is bringing Sailor Moon to the Nintendo DS. Before you get your hopes up the game has only been announced for Italy. The new game will focus on five of the Sailor princesses, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and of course Sailor Moon. The game will be called Sailor Moon: La Luna Splende in Italy and would translate to Sailor Moon: The Shining Moon. It is set to launch this spring.

In Sailor Moon: La Luna Splende you will have the chance to play as the different Sailor princesses, each with her own unique strengths and action abilities. Gamers will explore three worlds, Jewel Palace, Mystery Castle, and the Flower Garden. Each world will have 20-30 stages. According to Siliconera the game will most likely take place during the "Black Moon" story arc.

Namco Bandai has not confirmed their intentions to bring the game to any other countries at this time. They haven't denied it either so I give you permission to get really excited. I know a lot of G4's readers were fans of the Sailor Moon series; would you want to play a new Sailor Moon game?
