Nintendo Reveals 3DS First Look Titles

A Chinese factory worker has apparently stolen a Nintendo 3DS from the place where they are manufactured. The video below shows the device in action, although no operating system is installed on the device, so we can't see it playing any games.

If this is genuine (and it really seems real to me), it's the first footage of the device "in the wild." I've embedded the video under the "Read More" tag, so you can check it out yourself. What do you think?

Surely this will coincide with epic shortages at retail. ;)

I think this is BS for a few reasons.

    1) why in the 1:35 of the video is most of it spent showing the outer shell and size comparison to the Lite and DSi, why not show it open more?

    2) When it's open why is it all fuzzy, I would be shooting this in the best possible frame rate I could get not some crappy webcam.

    3) Why is the back plate missing?

    4) Why would you risk strong legal ramification from Nintendo for steal an 3DS without a working OS.

    5) and on that, why would you load a game without a working OS just to show it doesn't work?

judging from the parts of the case missing I would have to say if it was "stolen" from a factory it was probably a defective one which is how they got it out of the factory without arousing suspicion...probably why it doesn't have an OS as well...(or it could be an elaborate case mod to a DS that had the OS flashed incorrectly, leaving only the bios text...) but I'm leaning more towards defective 3DS...

Not watching. I don't endorse these sort of leaks ruining the surprise for the rest of us.

I'm not buying that the 3DS was "Stolen", This is more like a "Marketing Campaign.". Apple did the exact same thing with the newer iPhone (or iTouch, can't remember which one.)

That is just selfish and stupid. Part of the magic with any new gaming device is receiving it with little idea of what it can fully do so that everything it does do feels like an awesome discovery.

It cuts right before the game even starts... Suspicious.
