A Chinese factory worker has apparently stolen a Nintendo 3DS from the place where they are manufactured. The video below shows the device in action, although no operating system is installed on the device, so we can't see it playing any games.
If this is genuine (and it really seems real to me), it's the first footage of the device "in the wild." I've embedded the video under the "Read More" tag, so you can check it out yourself. What do you think?

Just one of the many reasons foreign companies shouldn't do business in China. You run the risk of everything from the Chinese government demanding source codes to spies and employees stealing products. Not really worth it in the long run.

Handhelds are for consumers who still feel nostalgic for the past,games made popular by old gene engines.In my very less than valued opinion handhelds should be able to play next gene/HD games(BLURAY portables have been out for over a year now); why do we (consumers) allow a new handheld with the same old games and titles as acceptable? Other than the outer appearance of the device, the video doesn't really show anything else. I am still interested in hearing more information about the 3DS and Nintendo will be releasing more information later this month.

Why take what doesn't work?
It sucks they did away with the GBA slot, I like the BC on my DS. And is that a new remake of the game or just a cover from a different territory? I don't want to buy M64 for a third time.

I think this is the real deal, may not be in perfect working order, but unless someone is a genius and really wants to spend all that time making a fake that clearly looks like the real deal for a one minute video, then maybe it isn't. No OS? Well if it were stolen from a factory, there may be a chance this isn't the final product, with software and all.
