Seventy million of anything is an impressive number when you really think about it, but usually at that level, the number is its own reward. PC gamers, however, are being rewarded for reaching the 69 million team actions required to unlock the “Operation Hastings” multiplayer map in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. That means that 69 million assists, heals, repairs, revivals, supply-drops, etc. have been executed since the game launched, vastly eclipsing the number of team actions in the actual Vietnam conflict.
Xbox 360 players are more than halfway there while PS3 owners are trailing by nearly ten million actions. Think of it this way. As of this word, this news story ran roughly 100 words…If each word were a multiplayer assist, we’d have to write this article 690,000 times. So let’s get started!

The map is really difficult! Get ready to be frustrated if you're playing defense.

Well to tell you the truth, i knew the PC would take this, Almost everyone on the pc has a MIC!! That leads to good communication( most of the time) which leads to a better team. The 360 people have mics but they just use them in rather obscene and obnoxious ways that lead to people arguing. The Ps3, the couple of people that use the mics are very helpful but theres always a jerk, And hardly anyone uses a mic BECAUSE THEY ARE TO STUPID TO USE ANY DAMN BLUETOOTH!!!! and then they complain that the ps3 doesnt come with a mic.

this just proves pc gamers cannot kill other players and need where as ps3 players are msterfull at killing and do not need help

hopefully other companies will realize how good of a platform PC really is because of this.

PC players are ahead because shooters are best played on PC with keyboard and mouse combination not controllers. The best Bad Company 2 players on the PC can beat the best BC 2 players on both Xbox and PS3.

Having more players on PC servers compared to 360 games (32 vs 16) isn't unfair or cheating. After all, it's not PC player's fault that the 360 is technologically inferior and showing it's age, compared to new PCs. Maybe if you played on more capable system, maybe then you'd have more players. Yeah can you tell I'm bitter, since my 360 red-ringed (again) over holiday break?
And anyway, bigger servers doesn't mean more support actions - don't know who came up with that faulty logic. 2 servers with 16 players each can do just as many support actions as 1 server with 32 players. Oh and BC2 servers on PC have Punkbuster to prevent stat boosting and the like, so quit whining you Xbots. .

^^^I meant to say PC in my above post

BC2 has servers dedicated to doing team actions. Which is basically glorified boosting. Not to mention they have more players in each game making it easier to doa team action.
Just sayin'...

I think the worst part is that the console versions of BC2 have more playtime logged.
I'm so glad I play this on PC.

Thats funny. Solely console players think that PC gaming is dead and gone. Anybody with a 700 dollar laptop from today can be a PC gamer. BTW you can plug in a Xbox 360 wired controller along with most computers these days have bluetooth or you can get a bluetooth reciever/transmitter and plug in a PS3 controller if you are so damn adamant to use a controller instead of keyboard+mouse which is superior in every way.

I have not bought this yet, i think 360 beat PC to the unlock with Battlefield:1943. I'm surprised PC got there first.
Interesting...

I had no idea. Long weekend to get it for 360!

What are the numbers from only legit, non pirated games :)

Wow, and I thought the 360 users would get there first. Guess I got to start playing more and helping out.
