The latest dual-identity Pokémon titles Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version will be coming to North American shores on March 6. They'll be bringing with them a number of new twists to the Poké-verse as well. First the first time ever, seasons will change in the game, and over 150 new Pokémon will be in the game, with some exclusive to each title. Black will also feature a new area, Black City, while White offers up the White Forest.
There are three new starter Pokémon as well, the Grass-type Snivy, the Fire-type Tepig or the Water-type Oshawott, as well as original boy and girl trainers. And if all of that sounds foreign to you, don't worry. I'm equally as confused. If you're been a stranger to the Pokémon experience like I have, this might be a good time to hop onboard and see what all the fuss is about. Both versions will be released on March 6 at a retail price of $34.99 each.

Woah, this AND the 3DS come out in March? Interesting.
Course, I'm not gonna buy either of them. Gonna see if there will be a 3rd version of the Pokemon game(perhaps a 3DS version? Probably not), and I'm not even sure if I can see the 3D on the 3DS. Plus, the 2nd version of any nintendo handheld is usually a lot better and comes out like 2 or so years later. I'm a patient man.

Black and White.. Most people it is racist, I like to think of it as Yin and Yang. (Although Nintendo of America took that off the legendaries like smart people). I'm getting Black version because the legendary is Fire/Dragon (although ironically, I don't use legendaries, I just like element fire). Can't wait for the new battle system as well.

Why did they change their names? The original names sound so much better. I can live with the fire and grass, but I can't even pronounce the water name.

pokemon was pretty cool back in the day. i'm also glad they are not milking out this franchise by busting new ones every year. The remakes of the old ones is good enough.
