Leah Jackson is the Game Cap Lab Assistant at G4, which means she's also known as "The Girl Who Runs The Refrigerator," because they keep the temperature at about 40 degrees in there so the machines won't melt down. She's also a hardcore PC gamer who is extremely legit. So don't mess with her. She'll kick your ass.

I know the game has only been out for a few weeks, but in that time it has surpassed every other game this year for me. With all of the new quests and the ability to now fly in the classic zones, I just can’t get enough. With Cataclysm, Blizzard has given me everything I ever wanted in WoW, and even things I didn’t know I wanted. It’s a fantastic expansion for the series, and it’s definitely my favorite game of 2010.
Read on for the rest of Leah's Top Five!

SC2 is one of the only games from this year that I kept coming back to again and again. The campaign was fun and all, but for a super-competitive PC gamer there is nothing else out there like StarCraft 2. I spend far too much time researching various strategies to keep my opponents guessing in order to move up the ladder, and I also love SC2 because of its community. I know it’s weird, but I’ve never met such a passionate group of people regarding a video game before, and I just can’t get enough of them.

I never played a Civilization game before Civ5, but man did this game hook me when it first came out. I loved trying out all of the different world leaders, and seeing who was the best at dominating the other civs. It was so much fun massing cannons and taking over all the different cities and villages. I never actually tried to win with a diplomatic or scientific victory, because I’m a baller like that.

FF13 certainly had its shortcomings. The game was way too linear, but after I got over my initial hatred of Final Corridor Fantasy 13 I fell in love with it. The story was super convoluted, just like all of the FF games, but I seriously couldn’t put this game down for weeks. I got all of the ultimate weapons, yes, all of them, and leveled them up to 100 like a good crazy person does. The art, music, and battle system just kept me coming back for more.

It’s not very often that I like a racing game as much as I liked Blur. The game is like big girl Mario Kart! With real cars! The graphics and physics in Blur are all amazing, and I truly enjoyed this title. Plus, the minigames and challenges offered a lot of extra replayability which I liked too.
Check back as the entire staff reveals their Top Five Games of 2010. What were yours?

Honestly Kevin youre coming off as a "negadouche" as well.. Have you nothing better to do than run back to the comment section and defend a list thats not even yours by calling a (probably teenage) poster a douche? Jackal calling the list "poopy" is actually pretty funny compared to the hate filled comments lists like these would normally get, and hes just voicing his opinion.. EXACTLY like Leah is, doesnt matter whos soapbox is bigger, these are opinions and this is the internet. Thats why there is comment sections. If I put up my top 5 list he might call it poopy too but hey thats the great thing about opinions. Now chill out and enjoy this beautiful Festivus!

Are you guys really complaining about someone's opinion? She didn't post your favorite games of the year, but hers. I like how all of a sudden everyone wants Mass Effect 2 as the game of the year, but a few weeks ago no one was talking about it. You guys are a bunch of followers. None of these games would be on my list (except FF13), but I still wouldn't bash her over it.

this girl is a really devoted RPG fan, but the only thing missing was ME2, to make it a complete rpg element list

Let me explain something: this is Leah's opinion. Just because it's not comprised of your favorite games doesn't make it a "poopy list." You really have nothing better to do than log on and just be a negadouche?
