Gamers who played Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be pleased to learn that the game will be getting new downloadable content. Castlevania: LoS left us with quite a few unanswered questions and DLC will give us the opportunity to have those questions answered. Konami wants to make sure their vampire hunting hero has a few more adventures so they will be releasing two DLC packs early next year.
The first DLC pack is called Reverie. In this add-on Gabriel will be once again returning to the Castle to help Laura, a former servant for the vampire Queen Carmilla. Reverie will focus on containing the evil that Carmilla has left behind. Look for it on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in February.
Just two months after the first DLC pack Konami will be releasing the second pack. Resurrection, the follow-up DLC, will be released in April. This content will pick up where the main game's story left off so we can count on getting some answers. If I know Konami as well as I think I do, then we can count on getting some more questions too. What questions do you hope get answered?
Prices have not been announced yet but we'll keep you posted. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is available now for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I just thought i would clarify how Gabriel becomes Dracula... YOU DO NOT NEED DLC TO KNOW THIS!! He becomes Dracula Because God grants him Immortality to repent for his sins hence why the souls brought him back to life and why he has the wings of the angels when he kills Lucifer.... Not to difficult to conclude since Dracula became who he was by most stories after his wife dies and he renounces faith in god...

I bought an X-Box 360 to play this game. I have two games. This and Kinect Adventures. I just finished this game ... my head exploded at the ending. I will be buying the DLCs.

I wonder if the dlc might eventually be released to buy at the store, like Read Dead Redemption for example, it would be nice.

This has got me really excited, I wanted to know what happened to Laura. Maybe the ancient evil in the castle that the lord of vampires was keep back was Dracula and Gabriel takes his title. He's already extremely guilt ridden something could happen to Laura or he does something to stop the evil that has him completely give up on repentance.

Since we are also getting a sequel and we hope its set in the era the first game ends in (trying to keep spoilers at a minimum here) I hope it will at least show the circumstances of Gabriel's descent and maybe how he came to have a child that would represent the Belmont bloodline that has fought Dracula down the years. WE NEED ANSWERS!!! If you haven't played this game yet do yourself a favor and get it now. It is a grand and glorious quest! Oh, and @Camaro72toy; If it's the Ice Colossus boss you are referring to you don't need to do anything to the torches. Run away and he will toss ice chunks at you that you must throw back at him to stun him. Then run up and climb him Shadow of the Colossus style. I wanna know how Gabriel becomes Dracula... My guess is Laura turns him but I'm still wondering exactly how. I also hope it adds more classic enemies.

The answers I want is why the old code doesn't work at all, and second, what do I really have to do to pass the Boss battle that says you have to attack the torches around you once you get the boss to zero life cause it's not working. I am stuck. Other than that, this game is one of the best Castlevania games ever and it's 2 disc, which means it's more like a 40 hour adventure than a ten hour one that reviewers first said it was. This game is mega long.

This is one very underrated game cause it kicks ass. Castlevania 4 life. Can not wait for the dlc.

I would like to find out how "Gabriel" came to speaking terms with Zobek after all is revealed. How he even tolerates the presence of Zobek (or even aiding him further in the present day) as shown in the epilogue of the game is beyond me.
