Starcraft II

The demo for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is finally available, five months after the game's launch. If you haven't taken the plunge into Blizzard's RTS yet because you're not sure if it's the game for you, now's your chance to test the waters for free.

StarCraft 2's demo is the first three missions from Wings of Liberty's campaign. You will have an unlimited amount of time to play the three missions and can play offline. Multiplayer is not included.
The demo differs from a guest pass mainly in that you don't need a friend to give you a trial key. This is especially great news for people who don't have friends. The guest pass also requires that you have a Battle.net account. You do not need an account to play the demo. The guest pass also is very limited, you only have seven hours, or 14 days to use it. I think it's time to ditch your friends and their silly trial keys and test out the demo for yourself.
