Thanks Feedback for letting my question be on your show. I love Twisted Metal and I wanted to know if you think the next twisted metal will be a playstation console seller? Is anybody from feedback looking forward to it and does the car combat genre still has what it takes to pull in some bucks or are people more interested in multiplayer shooters than a car combat multiplayer? I would also like to thank Adam Sessler, you are such a smart man and I love hearing you discuss video games, your an inspiration and have showed me that video games are worth playing no matter what my grandma says. P.S. you can leave that last part out, it can be our dirty little secret, sess.

I see that the Feedback crew has an opinion that this year has been a waste. I believe otherwise. Yes many reiterations of standard franchises have been reworked but in my opinion it has been a refinement of those IPs. I think we are getting to the point where developers are finally getting into a renaissance as far as the limits of what our current home consoles are capable of and it's a good thing. With games having release dates in 2012 we have something incredible to look forward to. My question is should there be a new console release in 2013. Will it change anything?

Is there any word on a possible Saboteur sequel? Just wondering

Indie Games building a foundation in the industry?
It seems that the gaming industry has started to put Indie Games in the spotlight more than ever before. They also appear to more fun and interesting than some of the rushed developed games or game sequels such as Call of Duty that never seem to disappear. I have a feeling that there is going to a little development renaissance if the Indie Game Genre of the industry and game developers will start to put together more sophisticated and innovative if they start losing profits to indie game developers. Developers such as Bungie and Bioware seem to be taking more risks than developers such as Infinity Ward and Treyarch (excluding Black Ops). Do you feel that Indie Game developers gaining reputation could lead to developers really pushing their development skills to make a revolution of video games that could change the Video Game Industry forever? I have a feeling that Bunige's new IP will be one of those immerse in-depth universe that I would assume we are not even going to seen in this generation of the Video Game Industry ,but when it does release it will revitalize the Gaming Industry that will create this little Renaissance.

Is DLC making game designers lazy?
Way back when, games had a set beginning, middle and end. Designers had no other way to put out games. Nowadays, games don t even have to be finished when they re released to the public.
In a mad rush to get a product out as soon as possible, it seems that games are being half-assed and designers are using DLC as an excuse. They can charge full price for an unfinished game, and then charge again for DLC just to end the game. (Cough Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 cough.) And if sales are low for a new game, DLC might not even be made available, therefore leaving the game completely unfinished.
What about game designers who can t choose an ending? I m sure there are plenty of those out there as well. There s always multiple ways to end a game, but what if a designer can t choose one by the time it s released? They leave a story open ended and then throw in some DLC when they finally decide.
I m a fan of DLC when it makes a game better, but not when it s used as a way to siphon money from gamers or for the indecisive designer. Granted, not all games are like this. It just seems that it s becoming more and more common.

Do you think we will see Half Life 3 in 2011???

People always worry about what negative effects violent video games or other forms of media have on their audiences. But why does no one ever worry about what effects they have on the people who create them? Instead of being considered psychotic, they are often considered creative geniuses.
The first game that comes to mind is Limbo (simply because I just recently played it). I love the game, and while it's not the most violent game out there, it is essentially a game about a child getting tortured for 5 or so hours.
So what do you think is worse on a person's mind? Being able to experience these twisted worlds as a secondary observer? Or being hands on in imagining and creating them?

Seasons Greetings Feedback crew, 2011 looks set to be an interesting year for gaming with Microsoft and Sony investment in motion controls and Nintendo bringing out their 3D DS. I wanted to know what each of you personally wants to see from developers at the various game trade shows and conferences?

i think it was Adam who in a recent soapbox commented that maybe there is to much testosterone in the game industry.Well I thought about that then tried to think of a game or studio with a female lead designer or writer and drew a blank ,can the g4 staff possibly name a few on any platform and any time period? thank you

A few weeks ago we heard EA Games President Frank Gibeau tell us that single-player games are 'finished'. Yet earlier in the same week Microsoft released information stating that only 50 percent of Xbox 360 users pay for Xbox Live Gold and the online multiplayer services it provides. If EA is in the business to make money (and lets face it, who's not) then why would they seem to focus all their efforts on games that will likely reach only half of the gaming community? Will this proposed shift in EA's policy see others follow suit, and will this in fact bring about the death of the single player experience? I am dreading the day when we see the homogenization of the gaming world eliminate the choices currently offered to those looking for deep, single-player experiences. Please tell me that single-player games are not 'finished'. Help talk me back off the ledge.

This past year we have been given motion controls for Xbox and PS3, which will indirectly extend the life of this generation's consoles. But will the prospect of a "HD Wii", within the following years justify a new generation of consoles? For me, I really do not see anything that hampers our current consoles' ability for entertainment, but I would enjoy to know your opinion on the matter. In addition, what is your outlook for 2011, concerning the quality of games that will most likely be forced to integrate with this new hardware? It seems we have moved from the age of touting "better graphics" toward an age concerned with add-ons.

I really think that the big question going around is "Where are we?" We're definitely in the Golden Age of gaming, but with Sony and Microsoft finally and predictably jumping on the "Motion Control" band wagon, what is going to be Nintendo's response? And if that response is a new console, regardless of how much sense it would make for them to do so, Are we then gonna be right around the corner with new Playstation's and X-Box's as well? Or can Sony and Microsoft stay in in the game with software updates to the current systems?
O, and GOD I hope 2011 isn't jam packed with more "surprisingly unique" Zombie DLC and modes. Even though it doesn't SEEM possible, isn't it worth figuring out how to be a lucrative gaming company with originality and creativity thriving? Are people getting into the industry to be apart of a cookie cutting factory or are there any gaming artists out there? We need more passionate game developing.

Is G4TV and DirectTV conflicts ever going to be resolved? Has there been history of this happening before and it came back to air?
I want my G4TV back.. :(

What was the poorest performing "big deal" title of 2010?
Also, why didn't I know that naughy bear actually came out this year? Was it that terrible?
Mystr
My questions is in regards to 3D gaming,
1.) Will the 360 have any 3D gaming content in 2011?
2.) Are game review scores going to take in the considering 3D for games that support that feature?

Everything old is new again. With a number of high profile franchises being rebooted or returning from the grave slated for 2011, which are you most looking forward to? Which are you dreading?
TurnBackThePendulum
What defines Hardcore and Casual to you? Also do you think the dominance on FPS and realism will eventually go away? Sorry everyone but most of the big games each year are FPS's or has realism to it. I miss the 90s where a game could be what ever genre and be unrealistic.
The_Great_Old_Ones
It seems with the advent of the smartphone, in particular Iphones, people are wanting a device that can do it all not something that is dedicated towards gaming, like a DS or PSP and soon 3DS and the rumored PSP2. Even so far as Nintendo stating that 'Apple is the enemy',
Is the future of handhelds bleak or are we seeing the start of a new console war?
dropkick06
If new consoles where announced at E3 would any of you be excited? I personally think the current generation still has a long shelf life and I would not be buying another console anytime soon. On that note when do you think a new round of consoles will hit the marketplace given motion sensing peripherals just hit the market for PS3 and 360.
