According to Electronic Arts, The 360 version of the Bulletstorm Epic Edition will include a special treat: Access to the Gears of War 3 beta. Epic Bulletstorm will also includes 25,000 experience points, "visual upgrades for their iconic leash," a Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor.
"Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm," said Dr. Michael Capps, president of Epic Games. "With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that's what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans."
The Epic Edition of Bulletstorm will cost you $59.99 when the game drops on February 22, but you can pre-order right now.

Bout time a game I want gets a beta into it... and its with a game that you can Spartan kick everyone, and do crazy kills... uh I already pre-ordered it.

Bulletstorm is gonna be a great game! Yeah it is different and it doesn't follow tradition, but thats the point. Gamers are like old people sometimes, set in their ways. Change anything, and many people will flat out refuse to try it! Well, anyway, we'll see when it comes out. They're finally doing the right thing by implementing a beta prior to the release of the game.
Cliff's words spoke for themselves, they learned from their mistakes. Host migration and dedicated servers are exactly what will balance the experience. No more host advantage, thank god! Unfortunately, Gears 2 was their patch experiment. They learned to listen to the community and change things for the better. The Social Matchmaking works, and its a seamless situation, for the most part. I'm glad I stuck with it.

Now Bulletstorm will be one of the highest selling games of 2010...
Last time I bought a game for a beta was Crackdown with the Halo 3 beta...I ended up liking Crackdown.

this is bull crap, the game is done. there is no need for a beta. the game industry has become a money whore and has stopped worrying about the quality of the games. as long as they pump out another title quicker than the last they are all good. they will drink them selves dry and one year no one will buy there crap games. it is already starting. just watch.

That is a kick in the nuts i think. Having to buy a game i never really cared for to play the beta for gears 3. But its good that they are doing the beta....hopefully it will be for the 9months before the game is released, cuz they will definetly need it if its anything like gears 2 multi.
