Deus Ex: Human Revolution Delayed

Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been delayed until April. Developer Eidos Montreal told fans via Twitter, “We’re excited to have this extra time to polish the game before sending it off to all of you.”

Eidos Montreal head Stephane D’Astous also reassured fans, saying, “My guys will polish this game to the extreme. The wait will be worth the while. We promise!”

Reuters reports that Eidos parent company Square Enix decided to push Human Revolution back a month after the company reported a much lower than expected profit prediction for the year ending March 31. Square has also delayed Final Fantasy XIV, which was scheduled to be released in Japan in March.

Considering how polished DE: Human Revolution looks at this point, I can only imagine what it’s going to look like after an extra month or so of development.
