Mass Effect 2 can be completed handily on Insanity with any class, not just the soldier. In my opinion, the Infiltrator class is the easiest class to use when going through on insanity.

My only, ONLY complaint with Mass Effect 2 was that it was so routine, "combat", "dialog", "combat", "dialog", "combat", "dialog". I know a lot of games were like this, but Mass Effect felt even more so to be like this.
Not to say it wasn't epic, nor was the story boring. Quite the opposite, I thought the story was amazing, and the game as a whole intriguing.
Just wish they kept MORE RPG elements in the game, felt like that was a big negative taking out the leveling up system of Mass Effect 1 for a more streamline version.

It's always fun to see the feedback crew kinda lose it for a moment. X-play is also the reason I'm going back to play ME2 again

Mass Effect 2 on Insanity wasn't too bad, but the worst parts were easily the 2 Scions on Horizon and the platforms on the Collector Ship mission. I did it with soldier too.
Mass Effect 2 definitely deserved that. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi myself, but the first Mass Effect was incredible, and I didn't think they could beat it, but Mass Effect 2 was somehow miles better. Probably the best game I had played since Bioshock.

I am beside myself with how much I agree with Stephen Johnson in this episode. I find Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Post-apocalyptic settings boring. I am more into noire and detective stuff.
Taylor Henderson
Probably my favorite Feedback cast. We need more of Matt and Stephen.
BigDogW
I see it now next weeks feedback will be 40% Duct Tape 30% Adam saying obscure references 20% actual game talk and 10% TOB

Bayonetta won the sexiest game award

Not even a nomination for best hand held game of 2010 for X-play. Now that pisses me off to the max. I wonder if they even picked up the game. KH: BBS you deserve so much more then nothing. I am happy BlazBlue got a nomination for fighting game. One more thing. X-play I hate you.
yayap001
I wonder if adam gets like 5 extra votes or if he just glares when people do something he doesn't like.

NBA 2K11 FTW!!!

Great picks for games of the year X-Play staff.

Stiff competition next year (just an observation, i know there are some games I missed)
Uncharted 3
Gears 3
Mass Effect 3
Infamous 2
Rage
Batman Arkham City
plus all the games we don't know about yet
Greibach
The thing about insanity (beat it on a Vanguard and an Infiltrator) is that the farther into the game you get, the easier it is, which is kind of strange. Enemies scale with your level, but they do not scale with your upgrades, so once you start getting a few upgrades you start powering up faster than the enemies. So... basically just stick with it! Also, great show guys!

Diablo 3 is not a MMO... It is a ARPG.
logdog200x
Great show and panel! At 38:10 Adam kinda sounds like Beetlejuice. Yayy.

Three games I'm looking forward to in order of projected awesomeness/epicness.
1. Uncharted 3
2. Uncharted 3
3. Uncharted 3
Nah just kidding. :)
1. Uncharted 3
2. L.A. Noire
3. Portal 2

Alright it has to be said, Mass Effect 1 was better than Mass Effect 2.
I want different armors.
I want to different weapons.
I want to be able to take off and put on the helmet easily and quickly.
I want the rover.
I want the elevator back.
ME2 doesn't have any of those, and especially by virtue of leaving out the last two ME2 lacks a sense of isolation in space. Fail.

nevermind
