Microsoft confirmed today that Turn 10’s newly unveiled Forza Motorsport 4 will include Kinect support when it ships next year. Racing game purists will be pleased to hear that. unlike Kinect Joy Ride, Forza 4 will fully support controller-based play as well.
A kid-friendly, family game like Joy Ride is one thing, but the thought of using Kinect to play a racing simulator, with all of its intricate moving parts, seems a bit strange, not to mention tiring. Then again, if the game includes a pit crew mini-game where you have to mime out jacking up a car and changing the tires, I’m all for it.
