Cheats and Walkthroughs
Portal is one of those games that you can brag about how fast you got through it. It's not the longest game, start to finish might take a gamer a hour if they apply themselves. However, a gamer by the name of DemonStrate beat Portal in 9 minutes and 25 seconds. How did he do it? Not by memorizing the puzzles or by practicing with the portal gun. He did it by exploiting the game's glitches, shooting portals through clipping glitches and most importantly walking backwards. Figuring all this out actually took him two years, so technically his speedrun took two years, 9 minutes, and 25 seconds.

Its very entertaining and hats off to the guy but all the same I'd have to say 9mins 25 secs* with all the glitching.
It feels a little like claiming a speed run in contra when you've used the Konami code.

All the kudos this guy earns with his amazing speedrun he loses when he starts singing.

mind = blown. both at the video and that he spent 2 years working on the techniques used. that's a LOT of portal.

When did Portal turn into Mass Effect? By that I mean spending 80% of the time in an elevator.

Seriously some kind of genius to get that good at Portal, which you have to be smart just to beat it normally. Even went the extra mile to make the Companion Cube jackolantern at the end. Horendous voiceover of the song at the end tho. But I was shaking my head most of the time in awe of what he was doing.
Great find Nikole.

Insane! He should be on the Portal 2 testing team.
Camazing
I love seeing people who have become unbelievably good at games. Like that Super Mario 3 in 11 minutes.

That video just blew my face off.

Seems like a waste of 2 years to me. But to each his own I guess.
