Developer Oddworld Inhabitants have announced that its four-game collection of Oddworld titles, aka the Oddboxx, will cost you and your Oddworld-loving wallet $24.99 when it hits various digital download services this holiday.
The collection includes all four Oddworld installments: Abe’s Oddysee, Abe’s Exoddus, Munch’s Oddysee, and Stranger’s Wrath. Still no word on the long discussed fifth Oddworld game, or what's next for Oddworld Inhabitants, but hopefully that will change once the Oddboxx gets gamers thinking about the franchise again.
I actually never played any of these titles, but I’m going to finally get around to it now, and I’m super excited, because I’ve heard nothing but good things about the series. Anyone else in a similar situation?
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

I'm getting this 4-pack. I enjoyed the Oddworld games the first time around and enough time has passed to make them challenging again.

@Completist Munch used code from a middleware company that was incompatible with ps3 or something like that. they can bypass it but it would probably be too time consuming and expensive to worth the effort. However the CEO of JAW has said that the pc versions run on a three year old laptop so unless you have an extremely old computer, i do suggest trying the new pc versions. the games are more than worth it.
I do own the first two games but even though i hate consoles, i was considering buying a (used) xbox just to get munch and stranger, they're that good. However, they have pulled a small miracle and ported them to pc, so hopefully soon we'll get more awesomeness from OWI and JAW

Strangers Wrath is one if the best unheard of games ever. Only fps/3ps I've ever completed!

Stranger's Wrath was amazing and was actually my favorite original Xbox game.

I've always wanted to play Stranger's Wrath. I never owned an Xbox tho. . .

Strangers Wrath was very fun. The difference "ammo" was frickin HILARIOUS. Has a twist that i did NOT see coming as well, which is always nice as games these days are to formulaic

I have always wanted to play these strange games, but unfortunately I have trouble playing anything in standard def. so this might be too late for me unless they port to at least 720p

I've only played a PC demo for Oddysee and I just downloaded Exoddus on my PS3 not long ago.
OT - With Stranger's Wrath being ported to the PS3 in the future, how good are chances that Munch's game wil be ported too?

Strangers Wrath was awesome. I'll get it just for that.

Finall getting a playable version of Stranger's Wrath would be nice.

Only played strangers wrath. That game was more than awesome. I think the price is worth that game easy.

I've played all of them except for Munch, and I can say, I'm actually pretty pumped about this. The first two were pitch-perfect platformers, and Stranger was a damn fine melding of 1st and 3rd person gaming. This ain't nostalgia, either. I was just playing Exoddus the other night.

I still play Munch's Oddysee, it's very addicting.
TKEmysterio
Yeah, never once played any of them. Is it a 2D platformer??
