Dame Helen Mirren is the new Wii Fit  spokesperson for Australia and the UK. MSN News is reporting that she was paid 500,000 pounds, or about $800,000, for the two-day shoot where she got to play video games and wear sweat pants. Pretty sweet gig, right?

You may recognize Helen Mirren from her Oscar-winning role in The Queen or more recently as an assassin in Red. The 65-year-old actress is nearly one million dollars richer thanks to Wii Fit. We dare say she's more fit too.

Nintendo is targeting older adults who may be intimidated by using a gaming console for personal fitness. "I would have never imagined myself exercising through a video console and now I feel very, very modern and very young," says Helen in the ad.

In the UK ad she added that "The Wii is like having a new lover everyday." Truer words, Helen. Truer words.

Will you be buying Wii Fit for Gramma this Holiday?
