On the eve of Disney Epic Mickey’s release, legendary game designer Warren Spector has become the 39th addition to artist Len Peralta’s yearlong Geek A Week project in which prominent figures in geek culture are immortalized in trading card form.
“I’m really proud that Warren felt this project as noteworthy enough to want to be a part of it,” Peralta said on the project’s website. “And I’m also very proud to be able to release Warren’s card in conjunction with the release of this much praised game.”
Spector joins the likes of Harvey Pekar, Edgar Wright, Kevin Smith, and our very own Morgan Webb, who was awesomely re-envisioned as a Little Sister from BioShock for the deck this past May (Still no Adam Sessler as a Big Daddy, but our fingers are still crossed!).
There are few people more deserving of a spot on a list of influential people (geek or otherwise) than Mr. Spector, and Disney Epic Mickey will do nothing but further solidify his place among the greatest artists/creators of all time.
