By now, all of the sleep-inducing turkey should have worked its way out of your system, unless you've been living on a steady diet of leftovers. In which case, you need to snap out of it. Pronto. If we don't get your full attention this morning, we'll doom you to watching the Yogi Bear movie for all eternity. Seriously, how does stuff like that get greenlit? It boggles the mind.
You know what else can be mind-boggling? Video games. But that's where we come in to help. While we might not be able to explain movies based on cartoons that kids these days won't even know about, we're definitely schooled in the arena of pixelated entertainment. Let us know what you need to know, and we'll do our best to come up with a reasonable answer. Or at least one that sounds like it might be reasonable. It might not hold up in a court of law, but it'll allow you to win petty arguments with your friends.
Also, let us mourn the passing of the great Leslie Nielsen. The man was a legend in deadpan delivery, and while you might have seen The Naked Gun, chances are that you never saw the TV series it was based on. So check out Police Squad! as soon as you can. Now make with the questioning.

Motion controled games seem to appear to be becoming more popular but the game list is rather low. Is there any particular game developer you'd like to see make a motion controlled game? personally i'd like to 2K make a motion controlled Bioshock game, but that's just me.

Do you think that there is a slim chance that in the future you could play games online with anybody regardless of what console they have? If yes, what game would you play and what console will you use?

Gran Turismo may be the ultimate racing sim ,but is it fun? I played prologue when it came out 2 years ago and I was more frustrated than happy with my experience. The game was brutal. So my question is this game more accessible for less hardcore gameers?

It's near the end of the year and it's about that time when all the video game review websites decide which were this year's best games and biggest disappointments. Which game would you guys personally pick for game of the year and most disappointing game of 2010?

Game Informer Magazine released the 30 characters that defined the decade. I thought some of them wer obvious like Master Chief and Kratos, some surprised me (Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright) and the King of the Cosmos on the list really surprised me. So I was wonder who you think are some of the characters who defined the decade?

We all know that when it comes to the gaming industry everyone tries to copy the big tittles like Call of Duty, even though we already saw the first batch Modern Warfare clones (like Medal of Honor) an even bigger title has spawned (Call of Duty: black ops).
It will be no surprise if we see the amount of clones duplicate in the next few years, and that certainly isn't the problem if we still have creative studios like Valve, Bugie or Insomniac. My fear is that the normal consumer will only buy the Call of Duty clones and force the creative studios to close.
I would like to ask if you guys think that Call of Duty my start a phenomena like World of Warcraft and have a Decade worth of clones with innovation no were to be found.

Could the popularity of Call of Duty ultimately be the downfall of the FPS genre?
Will the massive popularity of the franchise cause companies to shy away from the FPS genre? If a company knows that any FPS that they release is going to be compared to COD what is to stop them from creating a direct clone. I would suspect that if these "clones" where ill received by the public they would then stop making FPS's all together.

I just read the Gran Turismo 5 review and I agree it is a 4/5 game. The load times are unacceptable and there should be more "Premium" cars. I love the game regardless of its flaws. My question is can you really rate Gran Turismo 5(or even Forza) as a Racing Game? Aren't they more like driving simulates? I am a big(emphasis on BIG) car fanatic, and I believe that this is a prime example of what a simulator is. I am no Journalist and have no intention of telling you how to do your job but what is your opinion?

Hey Feedback crew, love the show. If you could make a game what would it be about? What would you want in the game?

I recently worked my way through Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and it was the best gaming experience I have had this year. It lasted just under 8 hours, there was little variety in the gameplay, and the creepy atmosphere only allowed me to play around 30 minutes a night with the lights off and headphones donned, but I enjoyed it more than any other game this year. Mass Effect 2, God of War 3, Fallout: New Vegas, all great games, but Amnesia outshone them all in my eyes. Is there a certain game that flew under the radar this year that had a similar effect on you fine folks?

I was shown a forum post on another website where someone pointed out interviews with Activision head honcho Robert Kotick regarding various ways of taking more and more of his customers' money. I'd post a link, but I don't know if that would work on this site's comment system.
First, Kotick mentions his dream of making Call of Duty a subscription-based game in June. Then in another interview in July, he says that Activision did not receive any cut of Xbox Live subscriptions, even though he'd "heard that 60 per cent of [Microsoft s] subscribers are principally on Live because of Call Of Duty." Then in August, the $10 annual price increase was announced for Xbox Live, and in a recent interview on November 12, Kotick said that Activision "enjoys a very modest amount of the subscription fees." Just twelve days later, an Activision spokesman said in an interview that the publisher would "never, ever charge for the multiplayer."
The post was intellectually presented, and though reminiscent of a conspiracy theory, it's main idea seems like a legitimate possibility to me: that Activision has worked out a deal with Microsoft to get a cut of the Live subscription fees. Another poster in the thread provided a quote from a GamesRadar interview where an Xbox Live spokesman mentions the justifications for the price increase, and the first thing he mentions is Xbox Live receiving Call of Duty map packs significantly earlier than Playstation Network.
A lot of it (maybe even all of it) is coincidental, sure, but if it's true, it would mean that every Xbox Live subscriber is paying an additional ten bucks so that Call of Duty players can get their maps earlier on Live, whether they play the games themselves or not. It also means Activision has found a way to not just leech more coinage out of its Call of Duty fanbase, but every single player on the entire service.
Do you, the Feedback panel, think this could be a legitimate backstage deal? If so, what other steps do you think Activision would take to keep the price increase "justified" when the early-DLC deal expires in 2012? If you don't think it's a legitimate deal, how do you think they went from receiving no cut of Live subscriptions in June to getting their own slice of the pie in November?

Are there any genres that the feedback crew would like to see in the next round of game releases? Missing out on scrollers? Hungering for more FPS titles? RPG? or dare I say... RTS? If you could choose, what IP would you like to see go along with your choice or what new IP would you like to see partnered with these genres?

I've been watching a lot of Dr. Who as of late, and was trying to think of a type of console game they could make for the Doctor that would actually be any good. In all honesty, I don't think that it would be possible to make one that could accurately portray the awesome that is Doctor Who in a video game format. What do you guys think?
P.S. I know that my question won't be picked for the sheer fact that it's not a very intelligent one.

Thinking back long ago, I remember an X-Play episode (at least I think it was X-Play) of a custom game console that had all of the current generation game consoles in one box. Granted, each console is created by a different company, and companies want money; so the idea of a unified single game console in the future is dim. But what is the best way to create a unified community? Would the creation of more cross-platform games, where an XBox 360 Black Ops player can play with a player on PS3 aid in unification? Or, do we even want a unified gaming community?

A mere comment on how D-bags use the 'the swasticka ment something else' excuse. The Buddhist Swasticka is at a 90 degree angle (straight up and down) and reversed from what the Nazis used. And of course when they use that excuse and the swasticka their useing is not only the Nazi swasticka but also has a white cirlce with a red background...yeah. And for thosue claiming the Celtic Swasticka, it was a LOT more ornate. Its all in what people perceive, Ive got my personal logo made up of circles, guns, knives, and swords, while building it my brother walked in and said, 'Oh cool you made the Zombie Survival Guide logo', and this is someone who knows my symbol.

Ok, so I was wondering, in your opinions, when it comes to downloadable content, which is more widely considered to give you more bang for the buck? The Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack looks pretty nice, and I will probably get it sooner or later, but every time I think about it, I always think of how many times I replayed all of the Fallout 3 add-ons and how much I enjoyed them, which were also up for about the same price. So, what usually keeps other people busy when it comes down to it, map packs, or an expanded single player experience?

Hey Feedback ! I am gamer with many different games that I enjoy, RPGs, Open world games, and most importantly multi player games. Now as much as I enjoy a game with a good story or a game that will sacrifice multi player for a good story and a replay ability I really love online multi player. Now lately I seen that many people believe that there are wrong ways and right ways to go about designing a multiplayer. Many people think that a game like Halo 3 or Halo Reach is the right way to go, have no perks or things that can skew the game in the advantage of a few players that understand which ones to use. Now I tend to agree with this side considering that a game like this is open to all players of all skill levels whether it be a new player or someone who has been with the franchise for multiple games. Now on the other you have a massive juggernaut that is Call Of Duty. As of the more recent games like Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops you can see that the multiplayer is well defined and is crisp, clean, and enjoyable. However if one or more players begin to dominate the game and pile up on killstreaks it puts the other in a huge hole with virtually no way to climb back into the game. Therefore, my question is this in future games and not Cod or Halo what kind of multiplayer do you want to see out of games.
