Talkabouts: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood »

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood...Is it a full Assassin's Creed game, or simply Assassin's Creed 2.5? Do the new features make this follow-up feel like a substantial offering in the Assassin's Creed franchise? Is Ezio really worth following for two entire games? Moreso than simply developing a straight-up third title to cap off the trilogy?

Our very own Jake Gaskill -- who recently reviewed the game -- teams up with Adam Sessler to discuss the merits of returning to the Italian countryside in order to to continue the series' increasingly perplexing story. From story to gameplay to the brand new assassin management system, we go in-depth with the title to determine whether it deserves to live, or simply should get a merciful death. Check out this Talkabouts and follow along!

And I thought with so many games being delayed, there wouldn't be many good games this holiday season! Now there's so many games and I don't have enough time to play them. I enjoyed certain aspects of the first Assassins Creed, but stayed away from the second one because it was so repetitive. But I loved the tone of the game. I really loved Arkham Asylum's setup, which seemed to borrow from AC, so now if they've refined it, I'm thinking this is going to be a really great game. After reading the review and hearing this segment, I need to go back and play the second (thankfully it will be cheaper), and then lead into this one.

Now that I actually beat it, it did advance the story line quite a bit (Subject 16's hidden message and progresses Lucy's place in the game -hint hint-)

@dz99ls: Ubisoft actually stated that the first Assassin's Creed game was the beginning of a planned trilogy before it was released. It was around the same time that the Mass Effect trilogy was announced and I believe that AC1 and ME1 even came out on the same day.

Whoever said anything about AC being a trilogy. Why do people always assume games have to be trilogys..... Seriously they could make a billion AC games ever changing the enviroments

I was surprised how much content is in this game. It's not labeled as a full sequel [ACIII], but it's got more content than ACII.
