Free Guitar Hero, DJ Hero 2, And Rock Band 3 Tracks Available This Week

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, DJ Hero 2 Demos Released Today

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, DJ Hero 2, and/or Rock Band 3 fans looking to get their hands on some free downloadable content this week have a couple ways to do it, thanks to Coco-Cola and independent record stores around the country.

Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 players can head over Coke’s website (go here for DJ Hero) and sign up to receive redemption codes for the following tracks. These songs will be free until November 29:

DJ Hero 2

“Traffic” Mixed With “Louder Than Boom”
“Feel It In My Bones” ft. Tegan & Sara
“Knock You Out” ft. Emily Haines Mixed With “Young Lions”

GH: Warriors of Rock

My Chemical Romance - “Bulletproof Heart”
My Chemical Romance - “Helena”
My Chemical Romance - “Teenagers”
My Chemical Romance - “Welcome To The Black Parade”

If you’re looking to snag a voucher for The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues” for RB3, head to any participating independent record store in your area this Friday, aka Record Store Day (aka Black Friday), buy any record or CD, and boom! Free track, and you’ll be supporting your local record shop. That’s what we call win-win.

Damn this is the only time ive been jealous rock Guitar Heros' DLC. oh well it will end up on Rock Band at some point im sure.

So for the solitary Rock Band 3 track, you actually have to buy something at a store, whereas the Guitar Hero & DJ Hero tracks (7 tracks) you get free just by registering on the coca-cola site. Nice job, Harmonix.

Seems like Activision is the clear winner here and actually rewards their fans.

Its only available for the Xbox 360... And on top of that, I couldn't find anything about the free DJ Hero 2 tracks...
