Word on the digital street is that Naugty Dog plans to unveil Uncharted 3 during Spike TV’s Video Game Awards next month. There’s also a good chance Sony will follow up this reveal with an official coming out party for the much anticipated follow up to one this generation's most acclaimed titles.
Sources close to Kotaku have let slip that some members of the press have already seen Uncharted 3 for themselves. Couple that with the fact that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves debuted at the 2008 VGAs, and there’s a very good chance a similar situation will occur at this year’s awards show.
Sony is also hosting an “Exclusive PlayStation 3 Reveal” the day after the VGAs, which will either be a big showcase for Nathan Drake’s latest adventure, or a reveal for something else entirely. I know it won't be Gran Turismo 6, but I kind of want it to be. Is that wrong?

just finished my second playthrough of uncharted 2 on crushing yesterday and now this, i am very excited to hear about uncharted 3 but im hoping it wont come out till end of next year, the longer ND works on it the better it will be

Only thing that'd concern me is if it were Uncharted 3, would be if it could top Uncharted 2. Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting Naughty Dog can do it. I'm just saying that sometimes, time constraints can hinder creativity when it comes to making a game, and speaking as someone who played Uncharted 2 (and loved it), I'm more than sure they've got a heavy order ahead of them as far as making Uncharted 3. Though if it does turn out to be Uncharted 3, I'm not complaining, nor would I really be all that suprised. Although personally, I think the event could be for something else entirely.

UC2 was my favorite game last year. Very much looking forward to UC3 (as is my PS3 which hasn't gotten much play lately).

Well i would think it would be awesome to have a coop campaign. Also MUCH faster, better, and more balanced matchmaking for online MP.
The online MP tends to have lots of bugs and is cheap. I had a fight where the guy was literally invisible twice so he walked up to me and killed me without any problem and i would see gunfire come from nowhere, i was behind a wall and poking out to shoot someone and i got shot and killed after a few shots way after i had hid back behind the wall and shot him like 50 times and they wouldn't die, and i was i grabbed and pulled off the ledge when i was like 5-10 feet away and other times i tried to kick him off but it didn't work so i was pulled off.
