Call of Duty: Black Ops may have broken numerous records including launch day sales and first five-day sales but can it hold the title of most successful FPS? Raptr decided to compare CoD: Black Ops' performance with CoD: Modern Warfare 2, Halo: Reach, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor. Care to find out the results?

Raptr took it upon themselves to compare each of the five games in Average Total Play Time, Average Length, Review Score, and Unit Sales. You can either look at the picture or keep reading, I respect your time so I thought I'd give you the option.

Did Call of Duty: Black Ops Out Perform Modern Warfare 2 And Halo: Reach?

Halo: Reach had the most hours logged on its launch day. Modern Warfare 2 had the most hours during its first week. Black Ops had people playing for longer periods of time on its launch day while Halo: Reach had the longest sessions during its first week. Modern Warfare 2 had the best reviews.

In the end they decided that while CoD: BO did break records, it hasn't out performed Halo: Reach or Modern Warfare 2.

So who is the winner? You are. How are you going to celebrate? By spending the entire weekend on your couch playing video games. Good for you.

Reach, better quality overall. When did a Halo game ever have severe glitches, modders/hackers in its game? If there was the all mighty Bungie would Banhammer them that day!!

I'm glad that Battlefield is at the bottom. It gives DICE and incentive or reason to make the game to the best of their ability and make it shine like diamonds unlike Call of Duty which is rehashed year after year. Treyarch didn't have to try to make a good game at all because they know fan-boys are gonna go out of their way to buy it because of the name alone. Being at the top makes you lazy because you'll still be successful in the end.

No matter what, each fanboy will defend there preffered game..I will AWLAYS be a HALO fan..So REACH is KING in my book. better online play,gameplay graphics,and community (friendliness). Reach is the better experience in the online world.
just my opinion.

Sorry to say, I did not like reach. Different style of play. I like Bad Company a bit better than MW2 or Black Ops. Let us face it, Black Ops IS Modern Warfare 2.01 minus the modern.

So who is the true winners. Everyone! I have paided 3 out of the 5 Reach, MW 2 and CD BO. All three are fun and have sucked many hours of my life. I cannot wait to try BBC2, and MOF once I get more funds to buy games.

ik this is gonna sound weird, but i love the Halo franchise... why you ask? because its fictional, i like playing something that none of us will ever live through... COD can take place any second (kinda reminds me of the War in Iraq)... im not saying COD is bad, its just id rather play a game that is almost impossible to occure, and halo is that kind of game. Ill play COD, but if i had to chose a game between all halo games vs COD or WAW or MOA.. im gonna chose halo

Reach is best overall, Call of Duty is my fallback game. By the way, MW2 is god awful.

Reach should win, BO could of won IF it had better graphics... Reach has an epic campaign, awsome multiplayer, perfect soundtrack, fanominal graphics and a great community... BO has, a great campaign, very fun multiplayer, great soundtrack, a great community, but bad graphics for a game in this kind of generation of gaming... if they waited to release BO, i bet it would have been better, cuz the only reason they released it so soon was to try to get as much money as possible while Reach is at its prime
