Before last week, the only sources of information regarding Rockstar Games hugely anticipated detective game L.A. Noire were a teaser trailer and a couple magazine articles. Well, that all changed with the release of the first official trailer a week ago, wihch was followed up by a preview event for the stylish drama that our own Chris Monfette was fortunate enough to attend. Here’s a taste:
“It might be easy to assume that because L.A. Noire is an open-world crime game published by Rockstar, you’d be roaming the city streets, shooting up civilians, skirting the law and generally becoming as corrupt as humanly possible. This time around, you’re actually penalized for going too far outside the law, rooted in the pin-striped suit and wide-brimmed fedora of a man committed to serving up justice. But fear not! All the driving, chasing, shooting and hard-boiled badassery you enjoyed from Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV is here in plenty, except evenly integrated into the ebb and flow of each individual case.”
Prepare to hate every day between now and the game’s release date, as you check out our full L.A. Noire first look preview.
And to see a nice collection of shiny new screenshots, head over to our photo gallery.

the game looks really good to me but honestly if i could have this game or GTA vice city 2 or GTA San Andreas 2 i would take the GTA game over it.
